Nominations
Who can make nominations and can I nominate myself?
Yes, you can nominate yourself. We invite nominations from friends, colleagues, professional advisers and clients. For the Enterprise Researcher category we particularly welcome nominations from the research community and government agencies.
How do I make a nomination?
To make a nomination visit the Prowess Awards 2008 webpage and download a nomination form for your chosen category. Return your completed nomination form by email to awards@prowess.org.uk
Can I enter more than one category?
Yes – you can make nominations for all categories there are no restrictions on the number of nominations you can make.

How do I know if my nomination is accepted?
All nominations received will be acknowledged by email.
Please contact awards@prowess.org.uk or telephone 01603 762355 if you have not received acknowledgement within a week of submitting your nomination.
How do I submit my nomination if I cannot do it online?
If you have problems submitting your nomination via email please call 01603 762355 to discuss alternative methods of submission or submit your nomination form on a CD to ‘Prowess Awards 2008, Prowess, Lion House, 20-28 Muspole Street, Norwich NR3 1DJ’
When is the deadline for nominations?
The closing date for receipt of entries is noon on Friday 18th April 2008.
Can I attach supporting evidence/documents?
The nomination form asks where possible for affirmations and supporting evidence to be included within the body of the form. A maximum of four attachments will be accepted for each nomination submission.
Do I have to tell someone if I nominate them for an award?
Yes – the Declaration on the nomination form asks that you have the agreement of the nominee to the nomination.
Do nominees have to be female?
Nominees for the ‘Role Model’ categories must be women. In the ‘Thinkers’ and ‘Supporters’ categories nominations for men are welcome.
Finalists
When will I know if I’m a finalist?
Entries will be judged in May and finalists agreed for all categories. Finalists will be contacted by 19th May and invited to attend the Awards ceremony on 6th June in Birmingham.
Awards ceremony
When will the awards be presented?
The awards will be presented at a celebratory lunch at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham on 6th June 2008.
Can anyone attend the awards ceremony?
Yes.
There is no charge for finalists to attend the ceremony. Tickets for partners, colleagues or friends of finalists are available at the Prowess member discount rate of £45+VAT. Standard price for the ceremony and lunch is £55+VAT.
A limited number of tables (10 seats per table) are available for £500+VAT.
Tickets for the Prowess Awards ceremony and lunch at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham are available from Prowess.
How do I buy a ticket for the ceremony and lunch?
Simply email awards@prowess.org.uk stating the number of tickets required and whether these should be charged at the discounted or standard rate.
