Women qualified and/or working in science, engineering and technology who want to raise their profile, further their personal development and progress their careers should sign up to the GetSETWomen database. GetSETWomen is open to all women in SET, at every career stage.

Membership is free and on signing up you will receive a regular newsletter and gain access to a wealth of information and opportunities, such as information about public appointment vacancies, speaker opportunities, media opportunities, media and other training, networking events and mentoring.

You can fill out your own profile, and will receive a username and password so you can update it whenever you like. You can also choose to receive email alerts on the specific opportunities which interest you. The database can be searched online by any member of the public - such as journalists or events organisers - but personal contact details are not made public, so all enquiries will be handled by the UKRC.
