I am in the process of doing a marketing audit for my new social events business venture and would welcome any advice for a single woman starting up, especially re securing finance.
Kind regards,
Nikki
I would suggest looking at the finding finance section of the cdfa website http://www.cdfa.org.uk. You have to answer a couple of questions about your location in the UK and then you have to approach the organisation directly. If you are a social business there are a couple of organisations that specialise in this support, they would include, Triodos Bank, Charity Bank, CCF, TSELF and then there are some regional providers but do look on the website.
Good luck with your venture
Nikki, check out the article on 8 ways to raise finance http://www.prowess.org.uk/business-finance.htm For local support check out the map above, or if you’re looking for a mentor: http://www.prowess.org.uk/business-mentor.htm Good luck with the new venture.
